How to use
The calculator has two modes: count working days inside a date range, or find a date after adding/subtracting a number of business days. You can choose common weekend patterns and add custom holiday dates instead of assuming one country's official calendar.
- Choose range counting or add/subtract mode.
- Select the date(s) and weekend pattern.
- Optionally enter custom holidays as YYYY-MM-DD dates.
- For a range, choose whether to include each endpoint, then review the breakdown.
How it is calculated
Example
Example: Sunday through Thursday with a Friday–Saturday weekend and both endpoints included gives five business days unless one is entered as a custom holiday. Adding +1 business day from Thursday lands on Sunday under that weekend rule.
Important notes
This tool does not claim to know official holidays automatically. Holidays vary by country, sector and year, and legal deadlines can have special endpoint rules. For formal deadlines or contracts, check the authoritative calendar and applicable rules.
