Frequently asked questions
Does 0.05 mean 5%?
It means 0.05 leave hours per eligible hour, mathematically equal to 5 hours per 100 worked.
Is the result a guaranteed take-home pay?
No. Taxes, insurance, allowances and deductions vary by employer and jurisdiction; use the calculator as a mathematical estimate only.
Should time periods be consistent?
Yes. When comparing pay, hours or deductions, keep the same period so weekly, monthly and annual figures are not mixed.
