How it is calculated
Example
Example: 1 hectare equals exactly 10,000 m². Using the international acre definition, 1 acre = 4,046.8564224 m², so 1 hectare is about 2.47105 acres.
Important notes
This tool uses the international acre and does not merge it with local land units that may have similar translated names. Regional units such as feddan or dunam can vary by jurisdiction and are intentionally excluded here. For legal or survey documents, use the unit definition stated in the official record.
