How to use
- Enter Property price.
- Enter Down payment %.
- Calculate, then verify which items are included in the definition before comparing.
How it is calculated
Down payment = price × rate ÷ 100; financing = price − down payment
Example
A 1,000,000 property with 20% down means 200,000 down payment and 800,000 remaining financing.
Important notes
Actual financing may depend on appraisal, fees and credit limits. This calculator only splits price between down payment and financing.
Worked examples and interpreting results
| Case | Calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Down payment | 1000000 × 20 ÷ 100 | 200,000 |
| Financing | 1000000 − 200000 | 800,000 |
