How to use
- Enter Length cm.
- Enter Width cm.
- Enter Height cm.
- Enter Dimensional divisor.
- Calculate, then review units, cost scope and billing rule before comparing.
How it is calculated
Example
A 50×40×30 cm package has 60,000 cm³ volume; with a 5,000 divisor its dimensional weight is 12 kg.
Important notes
The divisor varies by carrier, service and units. Use the actual divisor and do not assume 5,000 applies everywhere.
Worked examples and interpreting results
| Case | Calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Volume | 50 × 40 × 30 | 60,000 |
| Dimensional weight | 60000 ÷ 5000 | 12 |
Frequently asked questions
Is dimensional weight always billed?
Not always. Many carriers compare it with actual weight and bill the larger value.
Is the result an actual carrier quote?
No. The calculator applies your inputs mathematically; carriers may use minimums, zones, tiers, fees and different rounding rules.
What matters most before comparing?
Keep units, period and cost scope consistent, and know whether pricing uses actual, dimensional or chargeable weight.
