Important notes
Use a consistent definition of available unit. Units offline for renovation may need exclusion depending on reporting policy.
Worked examples and interpreting results

| Vacant units | 20 − 18 | 2 |
Frequently asked questions
Is physical occupancy the same as economic occupancy?
No. This calculator uses unit counts; economic occupancy compares actual revenue with potential revenue.
Should inputs cover the same period?
Yes. When comparing income, expense, balance or price figures, keep the period and definitions consistent.
Is the result a final property valuation?
No. The calculator gives a numerical relationship only; real decisions also depend on location, market conditions, taxes, financing and risk.
