How to use

  1. Enter Fuel.
  2. Enter Tolls.
  3. Enter Driver cost.
  4. Enter Allocated vehicle cost.
  5. Enter Other.
  6. Enter Completed deliveries.
  7. Calculate, then review units, cost scope and billing rule before comparing.

How it is calculated

Route total = sum of costs; cost/delivery = total ÷ deliveries

Example

Fuel 250, tolls 50, driver 400, vehicle 150 and other 50 total 900 for the route; across 45 deliveries that is 20 each.

Important notes

Choose the denominator to match the metric. Include failed attempts for cost per attempt, or completed deliveries for cost per successful delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Should management overhead be included?

If it belongs in your delivery-cost scope, allocate it consistently rather than adding it arbitrarily.

Is the result an actual carrier quote?

No. The calculator applies your inputs mathematically; carriers may use minimums, zones, tiers, fees and different rounding rules.

What matters most before comparing?

Keep units, period and cost scope consistent, and know whether pricing uses actual, dimensional or chargeable weight.
