Frequently asked questions
Should I use total or occupied area?
For rent cost use the area you pay for; for storage efficiency you may use the area actually occupied.
Is the result an actual carrier quote?
No. The calculator applies your inputs mathematically; carriers may use minimums, zones, tiers, fees and different rounding rules.
What matters most before comparing?
Keep units, period and cost scope consistent, and know whether pricing uses actual, dimensional or chargeable weight.
