How to use

  1. Enter Usage kWh.
  2. Enter Price per kWh.
  3. Enter Fixed fee.
  4. Calculate, then review power, price and period before comparing.

How it is calculated

Energy charge = kWh × price; total = energy charge + fixed fee

Example

Using 600 kWh at 0.18 gives an energy charge of 108; with a fixed fee of 20 the simplified total is 128.

Important notes

Many bills include taxes, tiers, demand or fuel adjustments. Use this simple model only when your tariff is reasonably close to energy plus a fixed fee.

Frequently asked questions

Does this replace the utility's bill calculator?

No. Use it for estimation only when you understand the basic tariff structure.

Is the result an actual utility bill?

No. It is a calculation from your usage, price and inputs; real tariffs, taxes and fixed fees may add other items.

How can I improve accuracy?

Use measured or device-specific power and usage plus the actual electricity price for the same period.
