How to use
- Enter Daily kWh.
- Enter Days.
- Enter Price per kWh.
- Calculate, then review power, price and period before comparing.
How it is calculated
Monthly kWh = daily kWh × days; cost = kWh × price
Example
Using 20 kWh daily for 30 days equals 600 kWh monthly; at 0.18 per kWh the cost is 108.
Important notes
Daily use can vary seasonally with cooling or heating. Use an average for the target month rather than an annual average when estimating a specific bill.
Worked examples and interpreting results
| Case | Calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly kWh | 20 × 30 | 600 |
| Cost | 600 × 0.18 | 108 |
Frequently asked questions
Should I always use 30 days?
No. Enter the actual billing-period days when it is 28, 31 or another cycle.
Is the result an actual utility bill?
No. It is a calculation from your usage, price and inputs; real tariffs, taxes and fixed fees may add other items.
How can I improve accuracy?
Use measured or device-specific power and usage plus the actual electricity price for the same period.
